Things You Can Only Say At Thanksgiving! And Get Away With!

1. Talk about a huge breast!

2. Tying the legs together keeps the inside moist.

3. It's Cool Whip time!

4. If I don't undo my pants, I'll burst!

5. Whew, that's one terrific spread!

6. I'm in the mood for a little dark meat.

7. Are you ready for seconds yet?

8. It's a little dry, do you still want to eat it?

9. Just wait your turn, you'll get some!

10. Don't play with your meat.

11. Just spread the legs open and stuff it in.

12. Do you think you'll be able to handle all these people at once?

13. I didn't expect everyone to come at once!

14. You still have a little bit on your chin.

15. How long will it take after you stick it in?

16. You'll know it's ready when it pops up.

17. Wow, I didn't think I could handle all of that!

18. That's the biggest one I've ever seen!

19. How long do I beat it before it's ready?

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I hope that you have a wonderful day with those you love!!

Happy 15th Birthday D-man!

I find it so hard to believe that I have a 15 year old when I am only 25. *L

As a young mother on this date 15 yrs ago at 3:08 PM Dylan was born. He weighed 7 lbs 6 oz and was 20 inches long. Until they placed him in my arms I had never truly understood what the word Mom had meant. I was told to get lots of sleep because you never will sleep that way again, or be able to go out on the spur of the moment. But not once did anyone tell me how it would feel when that little boy learned how to say mommy, or when you returned from somewhere and those little chubby legs would run as fast as they could to hug you like you had been away for months. Or the heartbreak you felt when your child was sick and there was nothing you could do for them. Watching them climb on the big boy school bus on their first day of kindergarten and being brave until the bus was gone so you could bawl your eyes out. (Yes I did do that.. I was a nervous wreck for those 3 hours he was gone. )

There will be plenty more good and bad times. I wouldn't trade a minute of them. I am so in this for the long haul! :)
Today was a good day, Dylan also got a deer this morning during hunting season! Yeah Dilly! Happy Birthday Buddy! I love you munches, bunches, oodles and more! :)

The Computer Swallowed Mom

The computer swallowed Mom.
Yes, honestly it's true! She pressed
control and enter and
disappeared from view.

It devoured her completely.
The thought just makes me squirm.
She must have caught a virus
Or been eaten by a worm.

I've searched through the recycling bin
And files of every kind;
I've even used the Internet
But nothing did I find.

In desperation, I asked Jeeves
My searches to refine.
The reply from him was negative,
Not a thing was found online.

So if inside your inbox,
My Mom you should see,
Please copy, scan and paste her
And send her back to me.

If my body was a car....

IF MY BODY WERE A CAR...
If my body were a car, this is the time I would be
thinking about trading it in for a newer model.
I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and
my paint job is getting a little dull ...
but that's not the worst of it.
My headlights are out of focus
and it's especially hard to see
things up close.
My traction is not as graceful
as it once was as I slip and slide
and skid and bump into things
even in the best of Weather.
My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins
and it takes me hours to reach
my maximum speed.
My fuel rate burns inefficiently.
But here's the worst of it --
Almost every time I sneeze, cough
or laugh... either my radiator leaks
or my exhaust backfires!!

Interesting Read!

I wonder how many more people have done this, without being caught!

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A Milwaukee woman who voted twice in the presidential election said today that she’s been assured she will not be prosecuted for double voting.

Edna Byrd, 51, voted by absentee ballot before the Nov. 4 election and said she was curious whether she’d be allowed to vote again on Election Day at her neighborhood polling site.

She said she figured workers would turn her away or the machine wouldn’t accept her ballot. She said she was shocked when she was allowed to vote a second time for President-elect Obama, who won Wisconsin by a wide margin.

“It wasn’t something I intentionally planned but I was curious to see, would they allow that or kick it out?” she said in a phone interview. “They looked up my name. They gave me the ballot. I said, ’I’m going to go ahead and put this in and this machine should kick it out’. It never did. I said, ’Oh, boy.’ I came right home and called (authorities).”

Always Check Your Kids Homework!

The school assignment was to draw about something you wanted to be when you grow up. This lil pupil portrayed that well...

What does Mommy do for a living? The picture is quite clear.....

(Mommy works at Home Depot – she was selling a shovel.)
Geez! What were you thinking? :)

Who thinks of these things?

I received this email tonight and thought about the lack of time I seem to have lately and the amount of time that this "festive" tree must have taken. And yes, the tree topper is a 2 liter bottle of Mountain Dew as well. Someone has WAY too much time on their hands.
But the final product does look nice!
And to answer your question, No, my household will stick with the conventional Christmas tree this season.
Maybe next year? Nah, I won't give my hubby any ideas. :)

I think I have....

Mageiricophobia....

What is it you ask?

It is the intense fear of having to cook. I knew there was a name for it! It seems that I have issues on preparing meals lately. Thank heavens for my husband who has stepped up to the plate. :)

Personally, I think it is a combination of exhaustion and the weather. Daylight savings time SUCKS. This time of the year always seems to pose problems for me. It is dark by 6 pm and I am completely done. I wonder if there is a "phobia" for the fear of laziness? I think I have that too! :)

Happy Birthday Eric!

I almost forgot to wish my amazing husband a very Happy Birthday! When times get hard or I simply don't say the words because I am too busy, these special days are for just that.

Eric, You are my rock and without you I would not be complete. Your love and commitment has shown through in so many ways. I may not always show my love for you, but know that there isn't a day that goes by that I doubt our love! Thank you for all you do for me and the kids, oh yeah and all that you put up with from me!

Lots of love today... tomorrow and ALWAYS!

OMG... this is not what I was looking for...

I went searching google today to find new and creative ways to make a turkey out of hand prints. Something different to decorate the house or the Thanksgiving table. I searched quite a few different sites and came upon this one. WHAT? I am so glad that Kierra was not around when I opened this one. Would have gave her a whole new view when I tell her that I am going to cut her hand out!

Check it out when you have time.
