A Perfect Sunday for Wisconsin!

Well OK, maybe not perfect. It has been raining most of the weekend. It feels like a blustery October day but in the world of Football that rules here in Wisconsin, it's can't be better. That doesn't even count the win that the Badgers took as well. 13 -10.

The Packer's took the win today, after a iffy start in the second half they managed a 48 - 25 win over the Lions. Great another win int he conference. Add that to the win they got last weekend over the Vikings.

All teams in the conference managed to get a loss too, making the Packer / Lions victory even sweeter!

Minnesota / Indianapolis 15 - 18

Chicago / Carolina 17 -20

Great start with Aaron Rodgers. GO PACK GO!

9 - 11 - 01 Remberance!

I am sure many have taken the opportunity today to remember what happened 7 years ago today. For those of you who don't know my husband is a E.M.T/F.F. (Emergency Medical Technician / Fire Fighter). I know a sense of what those families felt that life shattering day, as I feel that every time my husband (Eric) runs out of this house and into a burning building or to save a life. I wanted to make todays post about those wondeful men and women who give selfisly to those who need help! Thanks HON, you truly are my hero! Lots of love today and always!

Too Tired...

I had hope to post some Wednesday Weirdness, but that isn't going to happen tonight. How's that for weirdness today? I'll plan for next week! Night!

Too Short a weekend!

What a short weekend this turned out to be. Short, but exhausting! I guess I can't complain too much though. I did get tons completed. Our big project of getting the pool emptied out was completed. Now once it stops raining I can clean it all out good. *Oh yeah and syphon out any water that is in there from the rain.* I got tons of lessons prepared for school this week. I have all materials ready for tomorrow morning. I do hope that our "new" Monday mornings don't turn out like when the kids went to the brick and mortar (B&M) schools. If we don't want to start until 10 am, then we don't have too!
Today consisted of laundry catch up (and a million other things) I am on load 5 and still have 2 more to go. I know when I go in there again tomorrow evening there will be another extra load in there for me. Yeah for me!

For some strange reason while surfing the net last night I had decided that since our energy bill is scheduled to increase 27% this year that I needed to find ways to save some money on our electric and gas bill. I would love to hear anything that you have done to save some money. Things can get tight, and especially when you have 4 people in your family. Turning down the thermostat really isn't much of an issue too much here. I like my house colder. We all sleep better anyway. I figure grab another blanket, put on some socks, or put on a sweatshirt.

Well, it's bedtime for Kiki and I have some reading to do with her that I didn't do last night because she spent the night at Grandma's. Before I tuck her and say some prayers I hope that when you read this you can say a prayer for a special little boy who is fighting hard for his life right now.

Well, we woke up in a good mood and had hoped to pump out a bunch of lessons today, but we out school website is down. So here we sit on a wonderful school day not getting anything accomplished. I am hoping the site comes up soon and that we can continue a good day! We'll see!
