9 - 11 - 01 Remberance!

I am sure many have taken the opportunity today to remember what happened 7 years ago today. For those of you who don't know my husband is a E.M.T/F.F. (Emergency Medical Technician / Fire Fighter). I know a sense of what those families felt that life shattering day, as I feel that every time my husband (Eric) runs out of this house and into a burning building or to save a life. I wanted to make todays post about those wondeful men and women who give selfisly to those who need help! Thanks HON, you truly are my hero! Lots of love today and always!

Here's a poem that I found that really touched me!

The day started out,
Like any other.
It was 8:45 A.M.
The norm was shattered,
By psychopaths.
Silver birds from the sky,
Slammed into shining twin peaks.
The orange inferno,
And clouds of white,
Ended what we knew,
As another day.
I wish,only,peace and comfort,
To those left behind,
And an eternity of unrest,
To those who planned,
And carried out,
This outrageous deed.
May all the victims,
Of this unforeseen tragedy,
Rest In Peace!!!

Yeah, that whole day still just blows my mind. Every year I can watch what happened over and over and still can't believe that it wasn't just a horrible horror movie.

Hence the saying - WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
